A parents club not only benefits students but enriches the whole school community through positive interaction and support. Parents and school staff are partners in children’s education. By interacting with the school and other parents, parent club members gain a first-hand understanding of how schools operate and the rhythm of school life. Parents participating in a school’s parent club can use, and build on, their skills and confidence, develop friendships and work collaboratively with other parents interested in supporting the school.

If you would like to be part of Healesville Primary School’s Parent & Community helpers, or just want some more information, please leave your contact details at the school office or come along to one of our meetings. Meetings are very social and informal. It’s a great way to be involved in your child’s school community and meet new families. Please check the school newsletter for the date of the next meeting.

Even if you are a tiny bit curious, come along and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee, while getting to know our existing members.
